Santa Cruz...

And I'm not talking about the town.  I love guitars, really I do.  I could spend an entire day in a guitar store browsing and strumming to my hearts delight.  The last few years I've really been very attracted to the acoustic.  Having spent a lot of my guitar playing years on the electric, I now love the raw sound of being able to make an instrument full sounding without the fancy pants effects.

I've been a Taylor guitar fan for a long time.  Recently my family even booked a trip to LA/San Diego so I could go on a tour of the Taylor Factory (which was amazing by the way).  So two months before I left, out of curiosity I started researching other great acoustic companies.  Long story short is I saw a guy named Eric Skye play on a Santa Cruz OM/PW acoustic.  The guy blew me away with the lead runs he could do on that thing.

So I went to the Taylor Factory, drove to an acoustic guitar store, tried tons of Taylors and...got myself a Santa Cruz!

I've played this guitar so much that it's definitely an heirloom in my family, I'll never part with it.  In our worship setting, I'm going more acoustic because almost every week I've got an electric player on, and on the off weeks I can still bring out the Taylor T5.

Look up Eric Skye, and Santa Cruz guitars if you are in the market, you will NOT regret it.
